I am married and have two boys, 6 & 8 yrs. old. I am a veteran and served in the US Army as a combat field medic. After returning to civilian life I worked as a Critical Care Technician in intensive care units and Emergency Rooms for 5 years. After exiting the medical field I spent eight years in full-time ministry in Florida and Central America.

In 2002 I transitioned to the real estate and banking industry. I have licenses in both fields in Florida. Over the past eight years I have spent considerable time developing my financial expertise and certifications. I am a Certified Liability Advisor and a Forensic Consumer Debt Analyst. I have a passion helping people and families become homeowners, stay homeowners and becoming financially stable and ultimately financially secure through retirement.

In 2006 I founded and launched what is known today as Herocare (www.herocare.org) I believe our country is full of great, hard-working men and women who serve their communities with heart and passion. They’re the difference-makers in my book and our mission at Herocare is to serve them while they serve their community and our country. The mission of Herocare is to help “heroes” achieve their dreams of  homeownership and financial security while fostering awareness of their service and needs. Herocare is a housing counseling agency offering housing, financial and foreclosure-prevention counseling, education and managing a toll-free national Help Line for heroes (877-437-6411 ext. 0).

I am a regular speaker in various formats… I teach workshops; speak to other non-profit leaders about the power of the social entrepreneur; spread the word about Herocare and our programs and benefits to employers, community groups and community organizations like Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, Community Councils and more.  I also host online workshops educating professionals on various financial, housing and other pertinent topics as we advocate for homeownership and financial security for our community citizens.
